Trump known as Boeing CEO about potential shutdown of all 737 Max.
President Donald Trump called Boeing’s chief executive Sunday to discuss the company’s plans to halt production of the 737 Max, based on three people with knowledge of the matter who spoke on the condition of anonymity to talk about a private call.
Trump told the executive order, Dennis Muilenburgsaid he had heard that Boeing was intending to shut the Max production lineup , according to two of the folks. Muilenburg promised that any dip in production would be temporary and that there wouldn’t be any layoffs because of the movement,” they stated.
Boeing announced it was temporarily halting production of their 737 Max, that was grounded for 2 months.
